The mobile app indicates that the server version is unsupported, yet the self-hosted version is already newer than the required 7.8.0.
It is EOL. This says end of Jan but should say end of Dec IIRC.
Upgrade.
Thank you for the explanation. My actual situation is…
Current Rocket.Chat version: 7.13.1 Docker image: rocketchat/rocket.chat:7.13.1 Runtime mode: Docker / Compose
I‘ll try to update the images to 7.13.3.
I deployed this self-built application last month, and now it’s displaying an abnormal “not supported” prompt. I’m unsure whether upgrading to 7.13.3 would resolve this issue.![]()
Sorry I misunderstood your original post.
Your server has to be online and will check this file - if it can’t access it I think you will get the error. Note CE cannot be airgapped.
Thank you for your patient explanation.
If I understand correctly, even upgrading to version 8 won’t resolve this issue. Unless the server hosting the application can connect to the internet.
Both desktop and mobile access are completely blocked when attempting to access the self-hosted application running version 7.13.1
As per the docs you are permitted ONE airgapped instance and it has to be on Starter licence or higher. It is not possible at all on CE. It has been this way for quite some time.
Again as per the docs you HAVE to set it up correctly in the first place or it will not work.
Read ALL the docs here.
That is likely due to your setup but without any details it is hard to say.
First thing is to get your server setup correctly. Make sure you have https certificates etc etc.
You can deal with app access later.
