Snap instance not getting updates after 7.5.0

After snap upgrade to 7.5.0 we do not get any updates via snap.

  • Number of Running Instances:
  • DB Replicaset Oplog:
  • NodeJS Version: 22.13.1

When will my Snap installation get the latest Rocket.Chat release?

Possibly not released a newer version yet.

They sometime lag well behind docker.

Thanks, I read this before. But this time they are 2 months behind.

It’s not the first time.

As per FAQ

Note : If you require immediate access to the latest release, we recommend using an alternative installation method such as Docker, which receives updates sooner.

As a follow up, there was an automation issue

It is being worked on.

Any news here? 3 months without updates are getting close to the “apps will no longer work after 6 months” and “we need time to migrate existing installation to docker” windows.

As ever, as per the FAQ, when they release.

There is no guaranteed release schedule.

Pretty sure there’ll be an update before 6 months.

If you want newer, use docker. Simple as that.
