I’ve been facing an issue with the Jitsi Meet integration on Rocket.Chat, specifically related to the “Enable Mobile Ring” option on iOS. Here’s the detailed problem:
- When I activate the “Enable Mobile Ring” option in the Jitsi integration settings on Rocket.Chat, I receive incoming call notifications after one minute and twice when the Rocket.Chat app is killed.
- If the Rocket.Chat app is already running in the foreground, call notifications and the ability to join the call work perfectly.
Here are the steps I’ve already taken to troubleshoot this issue:
- Push Notifications: Verified that push notifications are properly configured on the Rocket.Chat server.
- Notification Settings: Ensured that notification settings on the iOS device are enabled for the Rocket.Chat app.
- Permissions: Confirmed that the Rocket.Chat app has all necessary permissions for notifications, microphone, and camera.
- Configuration: Double-checked the Jitsi Meet configuration in the Rocket.Chat admin panel.
- Updates: Ensured that both the Rocket.Chat server and iOS app are updated to the latest versions.
- Logs: Reviewed the server and app logs but did not find any relevant error messages.
Despite these efforts, the issue persists. Has anyone else experienced this problem or have any insights on how to resolve it?
