The app won't open on my MAC, any advice

I downloaded the app from the Appstore. When I click on the App in the launchpad the icon appears on my dock but then the app does not open.
I have tried uninstalling nd reinstalling but it does not help.

Any idea of what the problem could be?

In case you downloaded from the App Store, I’d recommend deinstalling and downloading from the Rocket App site. That worked for me

I had the same issue. I uninstalled and reinstalled using Homebrew: brew install --cask rocket-chat
