Snap rocketchat Change when to update. Why does it need to update mid day?

Description

  • Number of Running Instances: 1

Any way to change when RC updates? I heard as soon as the update is released it auto updates, but releasing this mid day when our server is most active just doesn’t make any sense. Why not release this after hours or weekends? Or am I missing something where this can be changed? I did search around but cant find anything to adjust the time.

It may be midday for you but 6am somewhere else. There is probably no ‘good’ time for the whole planet!!

Anyway, I think the answer to your question is here:

By default you are on the ‘latest’ track and will get upgrade when that gets switched.

You can switch to a specific track and then choose when to change.

Let us now how you get along.

Another method might be to simply change the snap update schedule. It is mentioned in the rocket.chat snaps documentation.
