Question about user limit on Rocket.Chat Self-Hosted

Hi everyone,

I’m setting up Rocket.Chat self-hosted, but I noticed that the user management section shows “50 seats available”. From my understanding, when self-hosting, the number of users should depend on my server configuration and database, not be limited.

Does anyone know why this limit exists? Is this a new restriction in the Community Edition, or is there something I need to configure differently?

New RocketChat starter plan with up to 50 users

Please tell us more about the new starter plan in RocketChat. With up to 50 users we can join the starter plan. How is this counted ? Is it the total I can see in the overview of the workspace ? At the the moment we have 54 users total. But just 39 users who are activated and 13 users who are deactivated. The deactivated ones are users who have left the company. But we don’t want to delete them because we think the database could be inconsistent. So our question: Are the 54 or 39 users r…
