Hi everyone
i am trying to use self-hosted-server in rocket chat
Can you tell me what is the limited features that i can use and i cannot in this version through API ?

CE is ‘free’ to download and use but has limitations. Key ones are:

  • Likely user limit around 200 users due to architectural constraints
  • Max 10,000 push notifications
  • No read receipts
  • Limits on customisations

‘Starter’ is free for up to 25 users and includes most features.

Starter is free for up to 50 seats.

There is no upper user limit for CE. The limit is determined by what node can handle on a single instance - around 200 uers.

Airgapped servers must have a licence. You cannot run CE airgapped. Minimum is Starter.
