How to troubleshoot/fix Rocket.chat server App Marketplace

Description

We recently upgraded our local Rocket.chat server from 4.x to 5.4.10. I see that now it requires the use of the App Marketplace to continue to using some features. When I go to the App Marketplace on our local server, I get the error " Connection error, Cannot connect to internet or your workspace may be an offline install.". However I have registered our server and workspace with the cloud portal, and in the portal it shows up as active. I’ve verified the server can reach the Internet outbound, which is also not filtered.

Any way we can troubleshoot or figure out the issue? Thanks.

Server Setup Information

  • Version of Rocket.Chat Server: 5.4.10
  • Operating System: Raspberry Pi OS (Bullseye)
  • Deployment Method: snap
  • Number of Running Instances: 1
  • DB Replicaset Oplog:
  • NodeJS Version: v14.19.3
  • MongoDB Version: 4.0.28 / wiredTiger (oplog Enabled)
  • Proxy: caddy
  • Firewalls involved: Yes but unfiltered outbound

Any additional Information

Your only solution is to upgrade to 6.6.x or higher.

However, as far as I am aware there is no snap available for a Pi at the minute and I am not sure where there will be one :frowning:

OK thanks for the quick reply. Yes, I have an open thread on when the ARM64 release will be available for 6.x as well. Thanks.

I’m sorry I can’t help more :frowning:

I have tried to push to get this fixed and will continue to do so, but I can’t give any guarantees.
