I upgraded Rocket.Chat from 4.x → 5.x → 6.4.5
I tried to alter my profile image, but get error “Edit user status is not allowed”. No changes are made. No matter, wether I log in as user or admin.
In Administration - Settings - Accounts, Allow User Profile Change and Allow User Avatar Change are enabled.
If I activate “Allow Email Change”, I can fill in the field, but get the same error.
Looking at “Permissions”, I cannot find any settings related to “Edit user status” …
What might be of interest: v6.4.5 tells me in a banner on top of the page, that there is a new version available. This is a clickable link. If I follow this link, a github-page will open and offer an old version, v6.3.0 currently! What’s more, there is a (%s) instead of a correct version number (see image).
