Email not received for new user creation

I am not able to register new user into http://cloud.rocket.chat

I am not receiving the link on the registered email

You MUST use a proper domain.

Junk mail addresses will not be accepted and will silently fail.

So no gmail/hotmail etc.

You may also be geolocked if you are trying to register with certain embargoed countries.

Thank you for the update.

To clarify, I am using a valid corporate domain and my location is not under any geographic embargoes.

I strongly suspect there may be an issue with the transactional SMTP/email dispatch service on the Rocket.Chat Cloud backend, as I am encountering the exact same email delivery failure across three separate workflows:

  1. New Account Registration (cloud.rocket.chat): Attempting to register a brand new account using my domain fails to send the activation email. Note: I successfully created an account with this same domain just last week.

  2. Setup Wizard Verification (Step 4 / setup-wizard): During the initial setup of a fresh self-hosted Rocket.Chat deployment, the wizard attempts to send a verification code to validate the primary workspace admin. No email arrives.

  3. Passwordless / Magic Login Link: Attempting to log into my existing cloud.rocket.chat account by entering my email address and clicking “Send login link” yields no email delivery.

I have asked my contact to check.

My insider said:

Email is down. Some sort of dns attack.

Team is working on it

Should be fixed now.

Let us know.

Yes, it’s fixed

Thank you for your quick support
