2FA/ Two Factor Authentication and LDAP

Hello,

I have been trying to enable 2FA for rocket chat and can enrol with 2FA but I don’t get any prompt. We use openLdap for our accounts. I am not sure if I have missed some LDAP specific configuration or something? Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

Server Setup Information

  • Version of Rocket.Chat Server: 3.0.0
  • Operating System: Ubuntu 20.04
  • Deployment Method: SNAP
  • Number of Running Instances: 7
  • NodeJS Version: v12.14.0
  • MongoDB Version: 4.0.18
  • ReplicaSet OpLog: Enabled
  • Proxy: nginx

Any additional Information

I tried to look through the logs but couldn’t find anything useful/related to the issue at hand

Just an update. I tried on a 3rd party client and it did prompt me for the 2fa login but it won’t on the official app or website. I am not sure why that is.
