Problems with LDAP and Groups - need help please -

Hello,

I have a problem with the LDAP connection. Is there a possibility to read the members of a security group and create them as users?
Or to read out just the users from different groups?

Example:

 DC
  --> OU 1
      -->  OU 2
           --> OU 3.1
                --> OU Employee
                    -- > Departments 1
                               .
                               .
                               .      
                    -- > Departments X
           --> OU 3.2
                --> OU Employee
                    -- > Departments 1
                               .
                               .
                               .      
                    -- > Departments X

That would be the structure in our AD, I would now have to read out all users from the Departments OU’s. Or will it work with just the members of a security group?

Could it work through group filters?

it didn’t work out for us - that’s why we added a special user group and work only with it. Nesting rocket does not seem to support.

Any news on this?

The LDAP filter as describes here should allow to read users from subgroups, but I couldn’t get it running either (with Windows Server 2016) and RC 3.0.2 as Docker on Debian.
