Missing Messages on Mac App

Description

Hi all, does anyone know why private messages would not show up on the Mac app whiles they show on all the mobile apps? This is only for messages i receive. My own messages are visible.

I am using the latest version of the apps and have E2E encryption activated. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

What is the Mac App client version? Are your running on latest?

Yes, this is for the latest Mac App version.

Can you consistently reproduce this error on a freshly new installed, dockerized, latest version server with the latest mac app?

If positive, we document the steps and move this to open up an Issue at our github repo.
