Message is recognized as edited even if there is no change

Hi everyone

I have noticed an quite odd behavior in editing a posted message. After I post a message, then I hit ↑ to edit the message. Without changing anything, I simply press Enter. The message is recognized as being edited.

Is this by design or a bug?

I see the same behavior here on version 0.69.2 and 0.70.3 (open.rocket.chat). I think this is a bug and it doesn’t check if there is a difference between the old and new message.
