Is there a way to allow the user to create a conference call while using the phone app?

Description

Is there a way to allow the user to start a conference call while using the iPhone app? I have Jitsi enabled and the user is able to make a call using the webapp. But would like to allow the user to make a call from the app if possible.

Server Setup Information

  • Version of Rocket.Chat Server:
  • Deployment Method: docker

  • MongoDB Version: 4.0.14 / mmapv1 (oplog Enabled)

Hi,

Sorry I am still catching up with older messages!

What version of Rocket are you using and how did you deploy it?

At the moment there are a lot of complications with using Jitsi and the apps. It is an issue that is being looked at but the it is going to take a while to fix it.

If you ORIGINATE a google voice call from your cell phone’s dialer app (as oppposed to starting it from the GVoice app), you can hit the “Hold” button in the middle of a call, and then the “Add Call” / “+” icon will show up once the first call is on hold, and you can start a second call. Once that call is connected, hit the join button and you will have a conference call.

Nice tip, but I think the original post was referring to Jitsi.
