Failed to authenticate with Rocket.chat cloud

Description

Receiving failed to register with rocket.chat cloud. Error: oauth_client_invalid_token

i just register today and located my token key, but i keep getting the above message when i hit connect.

Server Setup Information

  • Version of Rocket.Chat Server: 2.4.11

So you get the token from cloud.rocket.chat and then paste it in and get this error?

Have you tried refreshing after you get that error? There is a bug solved for upcoming 3.5 that fixes case where it throws an error but actually succeeds.

Hi Guys, same Problem here. “Failed to register with Rocket.Chat Cloud. Error: oauth_client_
invalid_token”. Refresh didn’t help. Already tried it a few times.

I already sent an email and opened a ticket with all the details. Registration isn’t working for me either

I got the same error as above.
For me the registration worked after creating a new Workspace in the “Rocket.Chat Cloud Console”. https://cloud.rocket.chat/

The Pre-registered token which already was there when first entering the cloud console didn’t work. Ideleted it.

Yes if you got a token in email discard it. Create a new token by going to create workspace is for sure the best option

If you have any pre-registered on your account you can click delete from actions to remove them
