Description
When creating a discussion from a public, non-E2EE room, one is given the option to make the discussion encrypted, and by all appearances it will be.
Once created, however, in the web, desktop and mobile UIs, there are no visual indicators that the discussion is in fact encrypted and there are no options to enabled/disable it, which is different from discussions created within E2EE rooms.
This leads me to think that discussions created from non-encrypted rooms will also be non-encrypted, and this toggle button UI element should be disabled.
Can anyone confirm or correct this?
