Disallow users from seeing the General Channel

I would like users to be unable to see the general channel.

I know there’s a View Public Channel permission view-c-room and I’ve disabled it for users however I’m still able to see the General Channel on a user account.

May I know whether what I’m trying to do is possible?

Hi,

I’m not sure General is any different to any other channel?

Is it set as default? Set it private?

Ahh I thought it was a default channel but turns out I could just delete it!
