If I leave the desktop app open overnight, in the next day the app will be so slow it’s almost unusable. Reloading the app with CTRL+R fixes the problem.

It gets esp. bad if you’re mentioned a lot in the current channel…

I’ve recently started noticing this a bit as well. I get mentioned and my laptop will actually freeze for a second. I’ll hear sound it locks up briefly and then notification shows… so could be wrapped up in showing notifications.
Definitely should open an issue and try to track this down
