Android Push Notification

Hi All,

I’m currently running my own RC server with push notifications enabled via gateway.rocket.chat.
Notifications work for the desktop APP + iOS, but not for all Android devices.
Enabling all Android settings like “background data”, “full access”, etc. did not show any changes.
Would appreciate your help!

It’s highly recommended to use cloud messaging. If all apps maintain open connections to their own servers, they’ll drain phone’s battery. If they use cloud messaging, cloud messaging service maintains only one connection for all apps that uses it.
