Description
As per the below Server configuration by rocket chat doc, We have a step-up rocket chat server on ec2.
VPS (minimal)
Single core (2 GHz)
1 GB RAM
30 GB of SSD
Up to 200 users, up to 50 concurrently active.
Before Server got hung Below Configuration
CPU 1
1 GB RAM
30 GB of SSD
For 7 to 10 User’s
Problem
- I am not able to take Ec2 SSH (Action Reboot Server)
Observation
- iowait high.
- memory consumption high
Action
We increased 1gb more memory.
Current configuration
CPU 1
2 GB RAM
30 GB of SSD
For 7 to 10 User’s
Note: After increase memory, we have not to face this challenge yet.
As per the standard shared configuration, 1 GB memory is sufficient for 7 to 10 Users
Please help us we need to reduce memory 1 GB share any suggestion do we need to tunning?
