Description
I have set up a custom oauth to connect users from a social platform to Rocket.Chat. If I have the setting turned on for Set Default Avatar, Tries to determine default avatar based on OAuth Account or Gravatar, then when the user is created, it does not set the account type to user and the user is not logged in; the account is created but the account type is blank. If I turned off the Set Default Avatar then it will set the account type to user and log the user into Rocket.Chat. My oauth server generates a URL to the user’s profile photo. If I try typing that URL into the avatar setting of the user’s account, then it returns an invalid URL although pasting that URL in the address bar of the browser will bring up the profile photo.
