Linux MInt 19 System Tray Integration

I’ve used desktop app on several systems and desktop environments.
Now I’m working on Cinnamon (Linux Mint 19 x64), and there’s no integration with the System Tray.
It never appears there, and when you close the app, it really closes instead of hide on systray, so I must always have it opened.

Is it a bug? A known problem or just mine? Any workaround?

Ok, seems like it’s a Linux Mint 19 issue, now I’ve installed KDE on it and still have the same problem.

Hi, I’m using Cinnamon on the Linux mint 19 and the system tray icon appears correctly. But, I had to activate it through the menu > View > Tray Icon.
