Hi everyone,
We’re excited to introduce Launchpad (Alpha), an opinionated, automated deployment path that reflects how we believe Rocket.Chat Secure CommsOS™ should be deployed.
Manual setups can be complex and error-prone. Launchpad simplifies deployment through a guided CLI that automates setup, configuration, and monitoring. Built and maintained by the same engineers who operate Rocket.Chat in production, it brings our best practices for networking, security, and performance directly to your environment.
The goal is simple: deploy Rocket.Chat quickly, correctly, and with confidence, while reducing the infrastructure burden on your DevOps teams.
What’s in the Alpha version
-
Guided CLI-based deployment
-
Automated setup of Rocket.Chat, Airlock, Launchcontrol, and Helm operators
-
Pre-configured monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana
-
Small configuration size (supports up to 500 users)
A few things to know before you get started
-
Currently supports greenfield Kubernetes deployments (EKS only)
-
Omnichannel, air-gapped, and federation workloads are not yet supported
-
We recommend deploying in a test environment first
-
Supports new deployments only (no upgrades or migrations yet)
This is a big step forward in making it easier to deploy, monitor, and scale Rocket.Chat. Our goal is to help you spend less time on infrastructure and more time building what matters.
If you’ve been looking for a faster, reliable way to get Rocket.Chat running, Launchpad (Alpha) is a great place to start.
