Description

Language is reset to English after restarting the RocketChat clients or clear the cache. Server - SNAP. This started today after upgrading to version 6.6.0. It helps to force a change to any other language in the profile settings, and then return to the default value, but after restarting the client, the English language returns.

What language you using in the profile setting. Maybe change it to something else and then switch back to default. Try this and see what happens.

Yes. My setup is Traditional Chinese, now 6.6.1 forced to be English
Even setting in gerenal is shown Traditional Chinese

Has anyone been able to solve it?

We do have the same issue. Our case:
Everything in English. I change the language in Settings/General from German to English and back to German, then everything is in German. As soon as I close the client and start it again everything is back to English (although the setting is still “German”).

Hmmm. If you have support then open a ticket.
