I’d like to be able to convert an existing thread into a discussion. This would delete all those one-line message previews from the parent channel, the thread would be removed, and all messages would be transferred to a new discussion.
There reaches a point where a thread has gone on too long and has realistically turned into a “discussion”. I see this happen on slack quite a lot, and having the ability to convert it into it’s own discussion with the possibility of new threads would be valuable.
