Error on Android app "Oops! Chain validation failed"

Rocket.Chat will not connect to our on-prem server from the Android app. IOS works fine as does the desktop app and browsers. The error when adding the server is Oops! Chain validation failed

Sounds like a cert issue, but the cert is valid and shows good in Chrome on the same devices that won’t work with the app. The cert is a wildcard cert, is that related?

Any advice?

Just want to report back that I updated packages via apt-get, rebooted and now Android clients are connecting fine.
