Email verification for LDAP users

We have full LDAP auth and email verification is disabled in user registration settings (SMTP settings are empty so verification is disabled/locked). Obviously not necessary to confirm emails if they are coming from LDAP.

Still, all users emails are marked as unverified and not displayed to each other. Which is not convenient if you want to look for the email address of your colleague.

Is this a bug or I’m missing something?
