Description
I have this pretty locked down to people and no one is an owner of any room except for our ‘owner’ user to limit what users can do. Some people are leaders and that’s the most they get. I have everything set to write-only and a global retention policy to 60 days.
I had a report this morning from a user that their discussions within the private room that were there yesterday are gone today. I looked in the database under the rocketchat_message table to see what discussions were created and there was nothing there for the previous days.
I heard of some retention inside of a room but can’t find that setting anywhere and with the global setting to 60 days, this doesn’t make sense since no one can delete anything.
