I can’t seem to get the ‘Direct Reply’ feature to work. Does anybody use this? Any thoughts on what I’m doing wrong?
I’m using a gmail account with an app password connecting via IMAP.
Server logs show connection and detection of messages for the gmail account.
rocketchat_1 | <= ‘* OK [UIDVALIDITY 1] UIDs valid.’
rocketchat_1 | <= ‘* 5 EXISTS’
rocketchat_1 | <= ‘* 0 RECENT’
rocketchat_1 | <= ‘* OK [UIDNEXT 31] Predicted next UID.’
rocketchat_1 | <= ‘* OK [HIGHESTMODSEQ 4757]’
rocketchat_1 | <= ‘A4 OK [READ-WRITE] INBOX selected. (Success)’
No messages posted into the chat channel and no messages deleted on the gmail account so it’s like the server isn’t choosing to read the messages.
