Can I modify mobile app layout by editing source code of the dev Rocket Chat server to which I am connected from the app?

  • i have a dev server running on my pc.

  • [Linux - Rocket.Chat Developer]

  • When I connect to this server build from cloned repo, from mobile app I don’t see “home button”

  • My question is: Can I add home button to mobile app layout, just by modifying code of the repo which is source for the dev server, to which I am connected from mobile app? How can I do that?

This is not possible. The mobile App has it’s own code and use the server APIs in order to connect with it.

AFAIK, there is no home view in the mobile app
