Dear CSR Team,

Please note that, we are facing this error while updating our rocket chat server:

[ERROR] Your cpu does not support avx or avx2 instructions, which is required to run mongo 5.x, shipped with the next version of this snap.

  • Version of Rocket.Chat Server: 5.4.10
  • Operating System: Ubuntu 22.04 LTS Server 64-Bit, Plan: G3.2GB, CPU: 1 vCPU, RAM: 2 GB, Disk: 50 GB
  • Deployment Method: snap
  • Number of Running Instances: 1
  • DB Replicaset Oplog:
  • NodeJS Version: v14.21.2
  • MongoDB Version: 4.4.15 / wiredTiger (oplog Enabled)
  • Proxy: caddy
  • Firewalls involved: N/A

You are kindly requested to please review this issue and advise us the best solution on urgent basis.

I’ve got the same error, during update process!

Deployment Method: snap
Number of Running Instances: 1
DB Replicaset Oplog:
NodeJS Version: v14.21.2
MongoDB Version: 4.4.15 / wiredTiger (oplog Enabled)
Proxy: nginx
Firewalls involved: firewalld
