Hello there,

I’m Ahmed Kashkoush, a pre-final year CS undergrad. While I’ve successfully completed several closed work projects, I’m relatively new to open-source contribution.

After exploring Rocketchat’s features, I’ve set my sights on contributing to Rocketchat in GSoC’25.

I possess strong technical skills in OOP, Data Structures, Algorithms, Operating Systems, as well as web development skills like HTML/CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Node.js.

I believe these skills will be valuable in this endeavor. Currently, I’m diligently familiarizing myself with the project by going through the documentation and contribution guidelines.

I would greatly appreciate any advice from past contributors, mentors, and organization members. Insights from your experiences would undoubtedly help me contribute effectively to Rocketchat. Looking forward to your guidance.
