2Gb Mongo Limit on Snap vs. 128GB in Prerequisites?

I’m running Rocket Chat version 1.0.3 via Snap on a Raspberry Pi 4.

Following the instructions here it states in Prerequisites:

the fastest and largest capacity microSD you can get, we recommend 128GB Class 10 or higher

However, when i run Mongo installed within Snap is states:

NOTE: This is a 32 bit MongoDB binary.
32 bit builds are limited to less than 2GB of data

Can i understand why so much disk capacity is needed if this is the DB constraint?
