Uninstalling 2.17 Windows Client

Hello,

I’m currently trying to uninstall The Client App on some of our Win11 Clients via a remote Software deployement tool with a silent switch. When trying to uninstall via the uninstaller with the /S parameter there is a Process starting in the background but it wont continue, nor uninstall the software. Any Idea what the Problem may be here?

Your client was released in December 2019 and is now 7 years old.

It was patched up to v 2.7.11 in July 2020.

Windows 11 was not even released until October 2021. Over a year after your version which even then was out of support.

No one is going to fix a long unsupported piece of software.

You only likely routes are:

  • Check on the workstation what is actually happening and try to resolve it yourself
  • Upgrade, then uninstall
  • Manually remove
