TypeError: user.name.split is not a function: SAML setup

HI All,

i am trying to configure SAML with Windows ADFS, struggling since last 3 days, somehow reached very close but stuck.
Server Setup Information
i am getting below error, when trying to access. most of the parameter on SAML page i used as default, except Certificate and basic.
Exception while invoking method login Error: TypeError: user.name.split is not a function

  • Version of Rocket.Chat Server: 3.10.3
  • Operating System: Centos 7
    -MongoDB version : 4.0

if i go with this option:

and remove:

Claim rule:
Name → username
this works but Asking user name suggesion during the login time.
any idea how to avoid that ??

is there any way to Sync LDAP user and authenticate with SAML ? this way it works with SAML and does not ask for username suggesion during login.
i know this is funny requirment but there is need to go with this.
