I am trying to use Rocket.Chat in our company, but first i need to install some features as described Quick Start on my machine.
Please I need to know if is it necessary the linux system has to be a server or any desktop version, Thank you on advance.
You should be able to proceed just fine with a desktop version of a Linux distribution.

Another thing:
After clone: git clone https://github.com/RocketChat/Rocket.Chat.git.
The rest of installation is made inside cd ./Rocket.Chat or out?

inside the ./Rocket.Chat directory, otherwise it will fail anyways
