Server Setup Information

  • Version of Rocket.Chat Server: 3.5.2
  • Operating System: Debian 10
  • Deployment Method: tar
  • Number of Running Instances: 20
  • DB Replicaset Oplog: yes
  • NodeJS Version: v12.18.3
  • MongoDB Version: 4.2.8
  • Proxy: nginx
  • Firewalls involved: no

Any additional Information

We build a RC Cluster with two nodes with 20 rc instances each and a 3 node mongoDB-cluster.
User Sync via AD (aprox. 1800 Users).

Everything seems to be ok but we have some issues regarding 1. user presence/status and 2. User-Search:

  1. User Status not refreshing in realtime. So user is shown as offline despite being logged in,
    <- refreshing browser sometimes fixes this. If not, User has to change to offline and back to online manually for status to be shown correctly

  2. When searching for users, only the first 5 results are listed.

Are there any configurations to tweak?
