SAML SSO doesnt work

Hi Guys,

I’m trying to configure SAML SSO for Rocketchat with a Univention Server as IdP.

Now when i click on the SSO Button in the Login Page of Rocketchat it opens: “https://chat.my-server/_saml/authorize/SAML/id-m9qFKkQ8jsEBPudzw” and from this page i become an “504 Gateway Time-out” why is this URL opening i haven’t configured this URL anywhere?
As far as i know from other SSO Services it should open directly the SSO page from the IdP when i click on such a Button.

Hi Guys,

I solved this now, if anyone has the same issue:

  • I added -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE----- -----END CERTIFICATE----- to the private and public certificate.
