Rocket.chat + Matrix (synapse) federated locally for development?

Hi,

Is anyone successfully running Rocket.chat & Synapse homeserver locally using the Matrix Bridge for federation? Any suggestions on the best way to approach this (ie both in Docker)?

Hi Gabriel,

This repo is for setting up a hubot, I’m looking for an example where someone has a locally federated rocket chat instance via matrix for development purposes. There doesn’t seem to be much information other than that posted in May 2022 when it was announced, is this feature still in development?

Feature and general Federation items still being worked, including making it a bit easier for the entire setup.
As for documentation and examples sorry, can’t help much on that part =/
