Removing the reply button when user doesn't have reply permissions

Hi,

I’m trying to remove the reply buttons from channels where my users don’t have the permission to reply. I have figured it out for the Apps, but I’m struggling understand the flow on the server. Could you point me in the right direction for which classes and logic I should be looking at?

AWS Linux
RC 4.7.1
Node: 14.18.3
NPM: 6.14.15
MongoDB: 5.0

Hi,

I had another developer look at removing the reply buttons on the server/web version and he asked what stack is being used? He said it’s not JS and it’s not a web stack he’s familiar with. Any insight would be great!
