Is there a option to stop using markdown on rocket-chat client?

For example when I send \\server-name\_foldername I see \server-name_foldername and when I send :) I see smile. I want to see what I really send without using fixes like `text` and ```code```.

Try disabling markdown at ADMIN > Settings > Message > Markdown.

Can you explain me where is this option? I use rocket-chat client for windows 3.8.11 and I don’t have access to server.

Ah…

This is a setting that need to be changed by the admin of the server. if you are not the admin, you will need to ask him to change it.
