Mobile app (Android & iOS) can not create direct message

Hello Forum,

whenever I add a new User to my infrastructue. and the user connects via the app, he can not start a new direct message with an existing other user. But if he Connects to the desktop app and starts a direct conversation with another user, he can then continue via the app.

This is rather inconvinient as now all user need to establish a direct conversation via a Desktop first. I am sure there is something wrong in my setup, but I can not find my error.

please help.

Hi,
I discovered that to create direct messages in the mobile app, you have to press the “Search”-button in top of the contact list, and search for the user you want to PM. It’s a bit awkward, but it works.
