What version are you going to? 8.1.0

What deployment method did you use to deploy?

Manual

Did you follow a particular doc? Which one?

What issues are you running into upgrading?

When i download curl -L https://releases.rocket.chat/latest/download -o /tmp/rocket.chat.tgz

it is still 8.0.1

Rocket.Chat does not support this deployment method. Using it may lead to unexpected challenges or compatibility issues. The recommended deployment methods are Docker and Kubernetes.

And

For production environments, it’s strongly recommended to specify a fixed version number (e.g., 7.5.0) instead of using latest. This prevents unexpected issues from automatic, breaking updates.
