  • Operating System: Ubuntu 16.04.7 LTS

Hi,

Have you resolved this yet?

Can you try logging in from a different IP? You should then be able to disable or modify the IP blocks.

My rocketchat server is in intranet in my company network, so every computer has his own internal IP thats why I dont understand why whole network IP was blocked
After 30min lock was gone and I could login and disable option “Block failed login attempts by IP” in Administration → Accounts section
I’m not sure but perhaps there is a bug in 3.13.1 snap version? It’s autoupdated one day before accident…

BTW is there a user friandly way to read who, what IP and when tried to login to RC server? Reading from syslog or console log is like pain in the ass…

my server log options:

Hi @k3tivK -

Glad to hear you managed to solve the login issues and disabled the blockage from the Admin panel.

Unfortunately, there is no easier way around the logs, at least not at this time.

Keep it up with the great job!

Cheers!

I think it’s bull that you guys have evaded answering the question of “HOW DO I UNBLOCK A BLOCKED IP ADDRESS” in every single of multiple forum posts made. How about you tell us what needs to be done to FIX this and not blame it on outdated versions, etc. I am running the newest version and the answer to this question is undocumented as far as I can tell.
