I’m new to rocket.chat and want to make some modifications. The app is running it on my local ubuntu machine.
I have changed some colors in variables.css and also web.browser/app/images/logo.png and restarted the app using
systemctl restart rocketchat
But the changes did not take effect. Appreciate your hints about hit.
I figured out how to change logo (in assets) and colors in (in Layout costum css)
However I would still like to know hot rebuild the app from backend after making some changes.
Hola @simonb, si pudieras compartir un poco más de información como algo del código CSS, versión de rocket, etc… para poder ayudarte.
Te puedes apoyar en las opciones de desarrollo de tu navegador para realizar modificaciones a la interfaz web. Puedes crear un alias con un nuevo directorio web para guardar las imágenes que no podrás modificar agregar en assets como por ejemplo si quieres cambiar el fondo de las conversaciones…
