Cannot Upload FIles in Messages

Hi, we have enabled file upload with direct messages in the admin console. However, when I send a file it goes to the channel, but not the team member. We also noticed that the ability to attach a file greys out as soon as we enter text in the chat box. Any ideas? [Screenshot 2024-11-25 at 3.32.15 PM]
