Can you add user groups (roles) to channels? If so, how?

Hi!

The roles were not designed for this.

The best way to control access over channels is using the TEAMS feature:

You will add the user to the team, and it will have access to all non private team channels.

Can I confirm that non-private team channels are not visible to the public? @dudanogueira

Yes, the team channel will only be visible for that team members:
