Recover a deleted channel

Hello everybody,

a colleague accidentally deleted a channel, is there any way to recover it?

Hi,

First, your version of Rocket is way out of date and totally unsupported.

It doesn’t even appear here…

Next your OS went EOL in July 2018

Please, upgrade.

As far as recovering your channel I am not sure if the data is still in Mongo and just marked deleted - you need to look.

Alternatively restore from your backup which you run every day?

Same issue here.
A channel was accidentaly deleted.
I did not find it in the “rooms” table of the “rocketchat” DB.
Is there any way to recover it still?

Otherwise, I could set up a second instance from a backup and export the channel from there into the production instance. How would that be done?
Is there any documentation on this?
