/usr/local/bin/node main.js while this doesnt fully fix the problem when you create your systemd script as long as you put it like this: ExecStart=/usr/local/bin/node /opt/rocket/Rocket.Chat/main.js you should be fine

this was a path problem, now resolved - the version installed with ‘n’ wasn’t being used
